An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Pangbourne as a Receptionist. This a key role within the business, providing a friendly and professional welcome to customers & visitors, ensuring great customer service is always given and presenting a positive impression.

  • Location: Pangbourne
  • Job type: Permanent
  • Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.15pm, Fri - 8am - 4pm, Sat - 8am - 2pm (this is on a rota basis so will be every 4-6 weeks and you will receive a day off in lieu)
  • Salary: up to 26k (depending on experience)

As the Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and greeting clients in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Keeping the reception area tidy
  • Answering calls and transferring to relevant person where required.
  • Booking appointments and updating the internal system
  • Taking credit card payments
  • Ordering stock as and when required
  • Petty cash
  • Sorting and distributing post
  • General administration duties as and when required

The successful Receptionist will have the following related skills / experience:

  • The ability to work as part of a team, support colleagues and promote excellent team spirit.
  • A confident, friendly, and approachable manner.
  • Flexible working attitude
  • Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, administrative, organisational and time management skills.
  • IT Literate with knowledge of MS Office including Outlook.
