Zen Educate is working with SEN provisions across Cornwall to appoint SEN Teaching Assistants.

The partner schools provide education to learners with special educational needs. Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant (TA)

Pay: £86 - £93

Main purposeThe Learning Support Assistant will: Work in partnership with class teachers to support the learning of a child with an Education, Health Care and Plan (EHCP), and other children as appropriate in line with the National Curriculum, SEN code of practice, and school policies and procedures. Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement A full induction programme and opportunities for professional development will be provided. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check.
