Job Description:
GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE or Dance Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Locks Heath Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and foster a love of pe or dance across KS3/4. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and supporting their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and creative PE or Dance  lessons.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress.
  • Support students to achieve their full potential in GCSE's.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Attend parent evenings and contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Secondary PE/Dance.
  • Experience teaching PE/Dance at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and student success.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure - support with with provided
  • Safeguarding and prevent training certificate - support with this provided
