Full Job Description

We are recruiting full-time Packing Operatives for a leading meat product manufacturer in Westerleigh.

Working for a company responsible for some of the UK’s most iconic food brands, the ideal candidates will be focused, driven and keen to learn new skills.

No experience in the sector is necessary. Successful applicants will be trained across a number of areas of food manufacturing and will be responsible for complying with health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Packing Operatives PM

-Rate £12.50

-Shift Monday to Friday 14:30-22:30

 Packing Operatives AM

-Rate £12.00

-Shift Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30

General Operative/Butchery Service

-Rate £12.50

Shift Monday to Friday 06:45 to 16:30

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Ensuring work is carried out effectively to meet production deadlines
• Maintaining skills and remaining up to date with best practice
• Working as part of a team
• Safely undertaking all procedures in accordance with training
• Compliance with Company policy and procedures on safe food handling and hygiene at all times

The successful applicant(s) will need to be flexible and use a variety of skills. They will need to understand quality, product and safety requirements, and be able to cope with unforeseen situations.

The vacancies are full-time (38.75 hours per week) on a regular shift pattern.
