About the Role:
Are you a skilled mechanical planner with a keen eye for precision and efficiency? We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Planner to lead our Maintenance Process (Planning) team, ensuring seamless planning and execution of mechanical maintenance work. This role is crucial in maintaining the mechanical integrity of our bioethanol and animal feed production facility, optimizing asset reliability, and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high safety standards, aligning with an upper-tier COMAH site.
- Drive maintenance planning to optimize mechanical equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work orders are fully detailed with step-by-step execution plans, including Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), tooling, and required spares.
- Maintain a six-week work execution plan, ensuring resource availability and schedule efficiency.
- Review and refine mechanical work orders for completeness and technical clarity.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling and tracking mechanical work orders.
- Plan and prepare for major interventions, shutdowns, and Turnarounds (TARs).
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of mechanical spares and materials.
- Optimize maintenance workflows by analyzing historical trends and equipment performance data.
- Develop and maintain isolation plans for safe execution of mechanical tasks.

What We Are Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance planning within an industrial setting.
- Experience working in a COMAH-regulated site (preferred).
- Strong understanding of CMMS systems (preferably AX Dynamics).
- Ability to interpret OEM manuals, technical drawings, and data sheets.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement in mechanical maintenance processes.
