We are advertising this role on behalf of our client. They are seeking a Compounder to join their Production Department. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for producing finished goods at the correct standards by following a formula. This role reports directly to the Factory Manager.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Undertake formulation and compounding duties.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in both the role and duties undertaken.
  • Carry out ‘machine minding’ activities as instructed or trained.
  • Identify Quality issues and address them.
  • Operate forklift to store goods (once training has been completed).
  • Keep the Factory organised and safe, in line with company standards.
  • Clean up spillages in a safe and timely fashion.
  • Operate Filling Line when required.

  • Friendly, approachable manner with a passion for the work.
  • Motivated with the ability to use initiative and make decisions within agreed limits.
  • Excellent team working skills, contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen, communicate proactively, and ask probing questions.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adapts to change.
  • Good understanding of verbal and written English and basic mathematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage own time effectively, and meet deadlines.
