Early Years Lead

A large and thriving nursery in Peacehaven is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Lead to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision, ensuring high standards of care, education, and team leadership.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years practitioners, providing guidance and support to maintain high-quality care and learning.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and assessment of the EYFS curriculum in line with current practices.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in.
  • Monitor and evaluate children's progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative working environment, encouraging professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety regulations.


Key Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Early Years education (Level 3 or above).
  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Passion for working with young children and commitment to their well-being and development.
