Our client are a leading organisationwithin Fruit supply within the Food industry and due to recent growth they're looking for a Production Shift Leader to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation in compliance with both internal and external standards.
  • Monitor and manage team performance against key business metrics, including quality, safety, and efficiency targets.
  • Conduct investigations as required to address incidents or resolve issues.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Oversee and lead the implementation of the company's Health & Safety (H&S) and Food Safety standards.
  • Ensure effective utilization and management of the workforce to successfully execute the production plan.
  • Build and sustain an engaged and motivated team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage colleague performance effectively.
  • Communicate company updates and objectives through regular briefings, aligning with management directives.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in production management, foodmanufacturing, or a similar role, with a strong track record of meeting production targets.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety (H&S) and Food Safety regulations, especially if operating in the food production or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in analyzing production data and using it to drive process improvements.
  • Certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
  • Food Safety certification (if relevant to the industry).

Shifts:

4 on 4 off- 8am - 8pm -10 - 12 Hrs - Normal working day across the year is 10 hours, however given the nature of produce 12-hour shifts will be required at certain times across the year.
