About Stockwell Road:
Nestled just five minutes from Pembroke Dock, home to a magnificent Norman castle and breathtaking views of the Cleddau Estuary, Stockwell Road is a tranquil haven for up to four adults, aged 18 and over. This charming home features four double bedrooms across three floors, along with a spacious lounge, kitchen, and dining area, offering ample communal space for socialising and developing life skills. Our beautiful gardens, and outdoor seating create a serene backdrop for enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Position: Support Worker
As a Support Worker at Stockwell Road, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of our individuals by supporting their daily activities, additional needs, and personal growth. You will collaborate closely with a fantastic team of therapists and other support workers to cultivate a nurturing and inclusive environment.
A Day in the Life at Stockwell Road:
  • Provide Holistic Support: Ensure the physical and emotional needs of our individuals are met within a caring and supportive environment.
  • Facilitate Recreational Activities: Assist during outings and community integration, making every experience enjoyable and enriching.
  • Promote Independence: Encourage self-esteem and confidence in our individuals, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
  • Tailor Support: Work collaboratively to ensure support is customised to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of all activities, progress, and any incidents.
  • General Housekeeping: Assist with meal preparation and other housekeeping duties.
Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships.
  • Resilience and Patience: Adaptable to individual needs and challenges.
