Provides quality assurance and control of product losses for all movements of crude oil and petroleum products by performing thefollowing duties.

Major Accountabilities:
Identifies excessive product losses
Encourages uniform marine petroleum cargo measurement and inspection practices, ensuring that API guidelines and theCompany's inspection procedures are followed with full documentation of events
Encourages a favorable perception of the Company's commitment to environmental, general public welfare, and profit control
Ensures that only proper equipment and measuring devices be used
Prepares field paperwork that properly outlines activities related to movements that are attended
Evaluates the performance of inspection companies and their inspectors
Communicates with vessel officers and shore representatives to determine if additional gauging or testing is required
Reduces ROB volumes by crude oil washing and stripping at discharge port.
Verifies and confirms all volumes with independent inspector
Must be able to work flexible hours/nights when required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (required):
Technical knowledge of transportation such as testing, inspection procedures, and marine operations related to transferring of oil required
Ability to read and interpret company policies, regulatory guidelines, and other work-related documentation.
Thorough understanding of Industry Safety standards.
Ability to abide by confidentiality requirements when working with sensitive information, results, and communications.
Skill in providing thorough, efficient, and effective customer service to individuals at all levels within the organization.
Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods.
Ability to accomplish work within required timelines, including short, long, and emergency timeframes.
Ability to work with others to accomplish challenging assignments.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments to ensure completion of tasks within stated time requirements.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word and Excel).
