Blue Water Recruitment are currently recruiting for a QA QC Manager to work on a large new industrial build project in Pembroke.

This role is due to start January 2025 for a minimum of 9 months.

The responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and quality control programs, policies, and procedures.

The QA/QC Manager will lead a team of QA/QC professionals to conduct inspections, audits, and tests to verify adherence to industry standards and customer requirements. The expertise and leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the highest quality standards and optimizing processes.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, guiding and motivating the QA/QC team to achieve quality objectives.
  • Having strong communication skills, both in speaking and writing
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach, ensuring thoroughness in quality inspections and process evaluations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a QA/QC Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating successful implementation of QA/QC programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in conducting product inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with specifications and standards.

Negotiable daily pay rate available for this position.
