What you will do as the Mechanical Maintenance Technician:

  • Working as part of a multi-disciplined maintenance team to ensure any breakdowns and repair work are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the delivery of a planned maintenance system.
  • Updating relevant records and documentation within the computerised maintenance system.
  • Contribute to project, upgrade and improvement work as needed.
  • Ensure that all safety, health and environmental standards and policies are being adhered to.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to improve reliability and performance.
  • Assist the engineering stores controller to ensure that inventory is optimised.

What you need to apply for the Mechanical Maintenance Technician position:

  • A recognised mechanical engineering / maintenance qualification gained from a time-served apprenticeship.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience gained with a computerised planned maintenance system.
