What you will do as the Mechanical Maintenance Technician:
- Working as part of a multi-disciplined maintenance team to ensure any breakdowns and repair work are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the delivery of a planned maintenance system.
- Updating relevant records and documentation within the computerised maintenance system.
- Contribute to project, upgrade and improvement work as needed.
- Ensure that all safety, health and environmental standards and policies are being adhered to.
- Work collaboratively with all departments to improve reliability and performance.
- Assist the engineering stores controller to ensure that inventory is optimised.
What you need to apply for the Mechanical Maintenance Technician position:
- A recognised mechanical engineering / maintenance qualification gained from a time-served apprenticeship.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience gained with a computerised planned maintenance system.
Your package
A salary of £39,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience - including call out allowance), potential annual bonus, pension (company contribution of up to 10%), private medical, paid overtime, etc.
