Hours: 37 per week (Mon - Thurs 8:30am to 5:00pm and Fri 8:30am to 1:30pm)

Looking for a Local Candidate ready to hit the ground running in a dynamic finance team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Management: Code, batch, and enter service invoices into Sage; import sales invoices via Smartvision and Micro Sage.
  • Receipts Processing: Import daily bank statements and reconcile receipts against accounts; prepare weekly receipts forecasts.
  • Credit Control: Contact customers regarding overdue accounts; resolve queries and manage credit arrangements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare inter-company figures and input data into Excel reports; process monthly expenses and customer refunds.
  • Support & Coverage: Assist with purchase ledger duties and cover for colleagues during absences.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of Sales ledger & Credit Control processes
  • Accuracy, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a small friendly team
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Good analytic skills and the ability to interpret financial information
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with suppliers, auditors and internal departments.
