FINTEC recruit is seeking an Electronic Technician for our engineering client south of Edinburgh. This is a permanent position working 36 hours per week (4 x 9 hours) Monday to Thursday and off every Friday. Salary up to circa £28,000 negotiable depending on experience plus annual bonus and benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, maintain, calibrate and repair electronic and electro mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults and performing tests.
  • Following technical manuals to ensure correct operation of systems.
  • Maintain service and calibration records.

Skills and experience required for the Electronic Technician role:

  • Experienced electronic engineer / electronic technician / test engineer
  • Background in electronics, time served or equivalent, apprentice training or electronically qualified with HNC or HND
  • Experience of testing and fault finding to component level.
  • Able to read circuit and engineering drawings
  • Able to use measuring tools, multimeters etc
