Our client, a family-owned business known for its personal touch and commitment to exceptional patient care, is expanding and seeking dedicated Optometrists to join their new, cutting-edge facility in Penicuik.

This state-of-the-art practice offers the latest advancements in optical technology and a supportive, collaborative work environment. With a strong emphasis on patient-centred care, they combine traditional values with modern technology to deliver the best possible eye care experience.

The Role 

As an Optometrist in this practice, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking team where your expertise and passion for patient care are valued. Each test room is fully equipped with the latest in optical technology, allowing you the flexibility to choose the best practices for each individual patient.

You’ll be working in a well-equipped environment featuring: 

  • iProfiler Plus 
  • Zeiss Humphrey Visual Fields 
  • OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) 
  • Visuscreen 500 & Visulens 550 
  • Ultra-Wide Field Retinal Imaging 
  • Visuphor 500 

Skills and Qualifications

  • GOC (General Optical Council) registered Optometrist 
  • Membership with the College of Optometrists and AOP (Association of Optometrists) 
  • Legal eligibility to live and work in the UK as an Optometrist 
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care 
  • Team player with a proactive approach to improving both patient outcomes and business growth
