Our client, a growing supplier of high-reliability products for the offshore sector, is seeking aTechnical Authorto join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in documenting and delivering high-quality technical manuals for their existing product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain technical manuals, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Work closely with engineers, product designers, and technical teams to gather information.
- Translate complex technical data into user-friendly documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage document revisions and version control.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Technical Author, ideally within engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to interpret engineering documentation.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar.
