Clark Wood, accountancy practice recruitment specialists, are currently working with a highly progressive independent firm of chartered accountants in Porthmadog who are looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior

As an Accounts Senior, you will undertake a varied role that includes the preparation of year-end accounts and the associated tax computations for a diverse range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You will also oversee bookkeeping work for clients and the preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of North Wales premier accountancy firms where you will gain exposure to a broad array of clients. This role is ideal for an individual with significant experience in practice, looking to continue their career with an extremely well regarded firm who place great emphasis on looking after their staff.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 + years experience in practice and may be AAT Qualified, ACA / ACCA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesPreparation of complex personal and corporate tax computations and returnsOverseeing bookkeeping work for clientsPreparation of VAT returns and management accountsLiaising with clients to resolve queries as necessarySupporting and assisting junior members of staff

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified (or Part Qualified), AAT Qualified or QBESignificant practice experience essential
