Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Design Engineer to work on their newly awarded contract in the Penrhyndeudraeth area
For the successful Design Engineer our client is offering:
- Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
- Days role
- Permanent role
- Temporary contractors will be considered in the interim
- Pension with up to 8% contribution from the client
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

The Role - Design Engineer
- To manage design consultant activities to ensure they are completed in line with the agreed programme and requirements
- To act as technical lead for the permanent works design on the project in the absence of management
- Ensure both input and output deliverables for the design are tracked and reported
- Manage the technical query processes
- Ensure compliance with design management processes required by the contract
- Manage the BIM requirements for permanent and temporary works
What our client is looking for in a Design Engineer
- Tier 1 Main Contract Design experience - ESSENTIAL
- Must hold a degree in Design Engineering or similar - ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience on large building projects
- Heavy civil engineering projects and tunneling experience - DESIRABLE
- Must be happy to be based on site full-time
