Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Quality Manager to work on their newly awarded contract in the Penrhyndeudraeth area.

For the successful Quality Manager our client is offering:

  • Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
  • Days working hours

The Role - Quality Manager:

  • To carry out quality planning and produce a framework that the project can use to provide a quality product
  • To ensure that quality and management system requirements are delivered
  • To ensure that the works are as specified and that the required testing and commissioning has taken place
  • Manage the assurance process to ensure that the project works properly and is certified as correct to the client
  • To manage and drive Improvement activities to assist the project in meeting its goals
  • To provide support and advice on Quality within the Context of the project including best practice and lessons learnt
  • Develop and maintain a team to carry out appropriate quality management activities.
  • Develop project-specific management system plans and procedures where required
  • Mentor Quality Engineers and other subordinate staff and assist in their development

What our client is looking for in a Quality Manager:

  • 20+ years experience across the industry supporting various Civil Engineering Projects - ESSENTIAL
  • Heavy civil or High Voltage experience with Tier 1 contractors - ESSENTIAL
  • Degree qualified in an engineering subject - ESSENTIAL
  • Chartered Quality Manager (CQP) - ESSENTIAL
  • Lead Auditor Qualification (IRCA Accredited) - ESSENTIAL
  • An excellent understanding of ISO 9001 and construction quality practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of Lean Six Sigma - DESIRABLE
  • Comprehensive understanding of document control processes and procedures including knowledge of ISO 19650 (National Annex A) – document numbering
  • Comprehensive understanding of project administration procedures
