This full-time, permanent position requires candidates to have an accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Premier Recruitment Group are pleased to be partnering with a leading business based in Penrith, Cumbria to recruit for a forward thinking Accountant. Very interesting and varied role. This is is full time and permanent position.

Role purpose:

To produce, develop and analyse key financial information to assist management in making well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability of establishment and its associated companies.

Duties:

Establish and maintain financial policies and management information systems
Provide a high quality support service by liaising with management colleagues on all aspects of finance
Managing and reducing operational and production costs
Implement new, more effective strategies
Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
Reporting to management/proprietor on issues arising out of accounts
Involvement in budgeting and forecasting process
Balance sheet and cash flow forecast modelling
Review of new and existing client contracts and proposals
Finance-based project work including involvement in M&A activity
Ad hoc work relating to the financial aspects of the associated businesses
Site visits to associated Companies when required
