Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Managing client relationships and providing expert accounting advice
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing mentoring where necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Assisting with tax computations and VAT returns
  • Supporting business development and identifying opportunities for growth
Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or studying towards qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
