Bells of Lazonby are an established family baker and market leader within the food and retail sector. Their Head Office is based in a beautifully restored station house, and they pride themselves on a waste minimalisation policy which has gained them the Queens Award for Enterprise.  The business continues to thrive, and the Assistant Management Accountant position offers the opportunity to develop and grow in the business. The position will report into the Financial Manager.Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation of accurate monthly management accounts
  • Maintain Prepayments and Accruals schedules
  • Purchase ledger Invoicing and Control
  • Assist with preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Working with the FM on costing analysis of products
  • Working with FP&A to analysis prior weeks performance
  • Provide support to FP&A with other projects as required
  • Preparation on VAT returns.
  • Provide support to FM as required with other month end tasks and audit preparation.
Experience
  • AAT qualified, initial CIMA / ACCA studier.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think for self
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong Excel Skills
