Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Middlesbrough Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week (flexible hours)

Key Responsibilities:- Preparation and production of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Management of accruals, prepayments, and P&L reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Overseeing financial reporting and analysis
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conducting financial forecasting and budgeting
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the finance team
- Proven experience in financial services or a related field
- Strong skills in accounts payable, financial accounting, and financial planning
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team
- Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA is desirable
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
