We are currently recruiting a Bench Joiner for a workshop environment in Penrith.

Hours of work

  • Full time or part time positions available
  • Monday to Friday
  • Standard hours are 8am to 5pm but this can be flexible for the right candidate

Job Requirements

  • Accurately interpret technical drawings, measurements, and cutting lists to ensure precise and accurate joinery production.
  • Operate various woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools to cut, shape, and join materials.
  • Prepare materials, including cutting, sanding, and shaping timber or other appropriate materials to the required specifications.
  • Deliver on exact product specifications to tight tolerances.

About you

  • You enjoy working to tight tolerances and been precise in what you do
  • You don't mind repetitive tasks whereby you are involved in the manufacturing of commercial orders requiring 100s of one item.
  • You like to work in a close knit-team environment whereby team work is essential.
  • This role could suit someone who wants additional hours to their self-employed position or someone looking to be employed on a full time contract.
