Jr Sous Chef Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Senior CDP and ready to take a step up
  • A passion for culinary arts and a proven track record in creating innovative menus and exceptional food
  • Leadership skills, ready to start helping with training a team of junior chefs
  • Thorough knowledge of current food safety and hygiene regulations

Jr Sous Chef Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of ingredients and the ability to use them in a creative way
  • Belief in being a team player
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ensure effective stock rotation of all products to avoid unnecessary waste.
  • Be able to run the pass at all service times successfully.
  • Develop and create new menus and dishes that are suitable for the operation
  • Good culinary knowledge of main categories of cooking
  • Interest and passion for the food industry
  • Creative and aware what trends are in the catering business
  • Excellent International culinary knowledge across various cuisine types
