Title: Fire and Security Engineer

The Company:

My client, founded over 40 years ago are seeking some new engineers to join their expanding team due to winning new projects and contracts across the UK. NSI Gold and BAFE approved, you can trust you will be working with the best engineers and systems across major customer sites.

Package:

  • Up to £36,000 basic
  • Overtime available
  • Call out - £145 stand by per week.
  • Bonus Scheme
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Travel paid after 30 mins each way, anything after 6pm paid door to door

Main Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintenance of Fire alarms, Access Control, Intruder alarms, Nurse Call, Door Entry, CCTV etc.
  • Occasional small works on the above systems
  • Reporting to your Field Line Manager
  • Completing all paperwork accurately and on time 
  • Taking responsibility of your work load, stock and vehicle

Knowledge and experience:

  • 2+ years working with Fire and Security Systems
  • 18th or 17th edition is advantageous
  • Knowledge of British Standards and Health and Safety
  • Full UK Driving License
  • CSCS or ECS card desirable not essential
  • Manufacturer training desirable not essential
  • Can pass Security Screening
