Engagement ManagerLocation: Barrow in Furness, Cumbria (Hybrid –4 days onsite)Duration: Until Aug 2025Rate: £460 per day (Inside IR35)We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Engagement Manager to oversee, manage, and coordinate our P&C Projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth execution and delivery of multiple projects while maintaining clear communication with both internal and client stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with a deep understanding of project management processes, including the critical path and the impacts of delays.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate Projects:
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  2. Internal Updates and Reporting:
    • Provide regular updates and detailed reports to the Portfolio Lead.
    • Create, issue, and monitor project forecasting.
    • Track project progress, identify risks, and report any potential issues promptly.
  3. Client Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
    • Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact.
    • Provide clear and concise project updates and reports to clients.
    • Address any client concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Understanding Critical Path and Impact Analysis:
    • Identify and manage the critical path for all projects.
    • Analyse the impact of any delays or issues on the overall project timeline.
    • Develop mitigation strategies to address potential delays and ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Engagement Manager or in a similar role within project management.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both internal teams and clients.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in managing large projects with a focus on delivering on time and within budget.
