FULL TIME PERMANENT CLASS 1 NIGHT TRUNKER DRIVER - PENRITH
We are currently seeking a full time class 1 trunker driver in Penrith.
Our client are the leading courier service professionals within Penrith, with over 25 years experience in the industry.
This position requires drivers to immediate start
Salary - £35,000pa
Job role
- Trunking to Litchfield and back Monday - Friday
- Starting between 4pm - 5pm
- Finish times - 6am - 7am
- Curtain sider vehicle
- Pump truck - for loading and unloading of the vehicle
- Handling paperwork etc: delivery sheets, product info, receipts etc
- Assisting in general warehouse housekeeping when needed
- Working to tight time frames and delivering goods at or as close to the given time as possible
Job specifications:
- Must hold a valid CE driving licence with at least 12 months of experience
- Must hold a valid CPC
- Must hold a valid DIGI Card
- Must be over 23 due to insurance purposes
- Have own transportation due to the location
- Available to work weekends as and when needed
- Able to use a pump truck, tail lift and have the ability to carry a weight if up to 20kg
- Can work to strict time frames and use own initiative to get the work done
- Able to use and follow a sat nav
