A Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer is required to join a Building Design Consultancy in Cumbria. The company are one of the largest multi-discipline building design consultancies in the North of England. Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer Benefits:

Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer Role:
- Work as a member of the Building Services Team to deliver on schools and corporate maintenance programmes
- Produce Electrical Building Services design calculations using a range of techniques ranging from simple hand calculations through to industry standard software such as Hevacomp, DIALux and Relux.
- Produce feasibility reports, condition surveys, design specifications and drawings suitable for all RIBA work stages
- Undertake detailed surveys on electrical building services to advise on their suitability for continued use
- Contract administration and project management
- Oversee and supervise the installation of building services systems, undertake commissioning management and specify maintenance and operating procedures
- Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulation requirements
- Chair, document and issue formal meeting notes for client and contractor meetings
Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in Building Services/Electrical Engineering
- Ideally working towards MCIBSE
- Good working knowledge of electrical services
- Experience with electrical surveys and condition survey reports
- Experience of working on buildings that contain asbestos
- Confident in providing advice on building related matters including fire safety and sustainability
- Able to produce plans, sections and detailed drawings, specifications, schedules of works and other documents to high standards
- Able to investigate and analyse services defects to develop solutions to system failures
- Experienced and confident in the preparation of decarbonisation/sustainability reports
- Experienced in supervising and monitoring Electrical installation work on site
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk AutoCAD and NBS software, Revit
- Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- A full UK driving license
