Location: Penrith area, with one day a week in Lancaster office

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Administrator for a significant project that our client is starting in January. The role will be based on-site at a construction compound near Penrith and will support our client’s project field teams with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be based in the Penrith area, but the location is also commutable from Lancaster and Carlisle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting: Issue weekly reports to multiple clients, ensuring efficiency and adherence to deadlines.
  • Communication: Liaise with construction clients, their agents, internal site staff, and external suppliers.
  • Spreadsheet Management: Collate information accurately from various sources, including:
    • Timesheets
    • Monthly report statistics (telematics, calculations, worked hours)
    • Expenses and supplier invoices
  • Accommodation Administration: Assist with booking and managing staff accommodation in Penrith, Carlisle, and beyond.
  • Training and Medicals: Book training courses and medical appointments for staff.
  • Vehicle Management: Oversee hire vehicle MOTs, services, and maintenance.
  • PPE and Equipment: Ensure provisioning of PPE and other necessary equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
  • Comfortable in a construction environment
  • Able to work from the Lancaster office one day a week
  • A full UK driving license is required.
