A truly outstanding opportunity for a high calibre Private Client Lawyer / Partner to join this boutique practice that services high net work individuals from across the Lake District & London. They have a truly unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate or Partner to join their team with a clear pathway to becoming a Director in the short term. This position can offer:

Due to the calibre of work in place this would suit an experienced Lawyer with a Legal 500 background and comfortable dealing with a broad rand of HNW individuals and their families, family offices, private banks, trustees and wealth managers. Experience of advising landed families and the owners of rural property and heritage property would be useful (not essential), due to the location.This practice have considerable experience in a broad range of private client matters involving all aspects of estate and succession planning. Clients include:
  • UK and international individuals, their families, and trustees.
  • UK entrepreneurs, business owners and high net worth individuals, as well as non-UK domiciliary.
  • Corporate and individual trustees, both UK and non-UK residents
Headcount is small and turnover of staff is minimal, so you will be joining an extremely settled team with significant experience. The main task of this role will to be form relationships with the existing client base in place to ensure a smooth transition when the existing Directors look to step back. Client care is of upmost importance as they are constantly generating work based on their reputation and referrals, they even have 3rd & 4th generation families that have been instructing the business. The pathway to becoming Director (and equity) will be discussed and a clear timeline will be set from Day 1, with autonomy provided also. This firm are a very traditional practice and are rooted in a 'quality over quantity' approach, which has proven a successful strategy for the business. Salary is open for discussion but the ball park will start at a minimum of £80,000 with scope for this to be higher for the right individual. Equity can be offered after a period of time working in the business.
