Our client, located in the beautiful area of Staveley, Westmorland and Furness, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis with the potential for a permanent position. What You'll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Performing day-to-day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
- Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conducting routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned schedules.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues efficiently.
- Providing production support as needed.
- Completing departmental work record sheets.
- Collaborating with mechanical and operational departments when required.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
- Extensive electrical experience in a continuous process environment.
- Proven skills in fault finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with general factory maintenance practises.
- Knowledge of basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively at all levels.
While we prefer candidates with extensive experience, lesser experience will be considered and reviewed for the proposed pay rate.
Working Pattern:
- Full-time hours from Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with a 3 PM finish on Fridays.
- This role requires your own transport due to the location.
