Daytime Healthcare are assisting a top national mental healthcare provider to source a Clinical Psychologist to join the team in Cumbria.

The successful applicant will support across two of our services: one in Workington and one in Kendal. The successful applicant will work on either a permanent basis, spending 3 days per week at the closest service and 2 days at the other, or on a part-time basis at either service.

As a Psychologist you will be:

  • Participating in the assessment of referrals, and to provide initial assessment service users referred to the service.
  • Undertaking high quality direct (assessment & therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions.
  • Working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertake the assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi structured clinical methods.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • To have BPS recognised psychology degrees
  • UK HCPC registration
  • To have Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications
  • To be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division
