Caralex Recruitment Limited are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor from a main contractor background.

The role involves covering a number of projects from small scale works to major projects with a particular focus on retrospective fire safety work on cladding and facades. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure projects remain cost-effective and meet all necessary regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and fire safety standards.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or similar.
  • Experience working for a main contractor on large RC frame projects.
  • Background in fire remediation and cladding work.
  • Knowledge of building regulations, NHBC, HSE, and fire safety standards.
