Your new companyHays are partnering with a local, Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Penrith, established over 20 years ago. They are located in a central and easily accessible area.Your new roleThis client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their small team. You will be working closely with Paraplanners, Accountants, Financial Planners and Compliance specialists to contribute to providing holistic financial planning for clients. This is a fast-paced role and would be suited to an individual that enjoys working in busy environments. Duties will include:

  • Act as a first point of contact for all visitors, offering refreshments and welcoming clients.
  • Answering phone call enquiries and directing appropriately
  • Contribute to monthly evaluations
  • Arrange and confirm client reviews
  • Manage appointment bookings for a busy diary
  • Create documents
  • Manage post, both incoming and outgoing
  • Assist with reporting and other ad-hoc Administration duties as required.
  • Working with Financial Planners to arrange and prepare for client meetings.
  • Ensuring accuracy of client records and data entry and calculations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in the Financial Advisory sector is required for this role as you will need a good understanding of the running of the organisation.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Knowledge of financial processes.
