The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experience Technical Clerk to join a world-leading, nuclear client based on Sellafield.

Job Overview:

The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield's 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original wasteplants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Integrating engineering, design and vendor information to produce the System Overview Documents
  • Reporting directly to the Commissioning Support Manager providing weekly progress updates.
  • Attending progress meetings.
  • Checking verification requirements in Commissioning Test Documents
  • Ensuring quality standards, and consistency are applied throughout the range of documentation being produced.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Nuclear background
  • Minimum HNC in an appropriate discipline.
  • Previous Technical Author experience
