An Area Support Coordinator is required to join a specialist case management and rehabilitation company providing Support Work, Case Management, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Medico Legal services to children and adults across North East England, North West England and Scotland. They are driven to help their clients recover skills lost through complex life-changing conditions, so they can live meaningful, rewarding lives. This is a full-time role, with flexible working hours with access to company pool car. Based in Penrith, you will be responsible for managing team leaders and support workers within Carlisle and the surrounding areas. You will work alongside your coordinator colleagues to contribute to the effective day to day running of services within the company, and play an integral part in our client’s bespoke packages. As Area Support Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing high quality support by following a detailed plan to meet the needs and wishes of clients/ their family.
  • Enabling your clients to function at their maximum potential both in their home and the wider community.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and induction of new Support Workers.
  • Ensuring ACFL policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Ensuring Care Quality Commission standards are met for all clients and staff.
We’re looking for an Area Support Coordinator with:
  • Previous experience working in support services or similar care environment.
  • A driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care, (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)
