Are you a Junior Maintenance Engineer with an NVQ in Electrical looking for a stable, Monday - Friday, afternoon shift pattern?

On offer is the opportunity to join a rapidly expanding food manufacturer offering a diverse and challenging role working on a range of old and new machinery on site.

In this role you will be performing reactive and planned maintenance on both electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth running of the production facility.

With further training given to fill in skill gaps, you may be working on gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, pneumatics, PLCs, relays, hydraulics, and compressors, whilst also doing fabrication and building fabric work when needed.

This company have been operating for over 70 years and are an instantly recognisable Cornish brand. They pride themselves on the quality of their produce and their innovative approach to their niche in the food industry. You will be working in a close-knit team of highly skilled engineers supporting a production facility of over 100 employees.

This role would suit a Junior Maintenance Engineer from an Electrical background looking for stable late shifts and training to become a technical expert.The Role:

  • Preventative and reactive maintenance in a FMCG environment
  • Working both electrically and mechanically
  • Ongoing training given on specialist equipment and machinery
  • Monday to Friday, 2pm - 10pm
  • On call 1 weekend in 4
