We are looking for talented teachers to join our pool of secondary teachers for Secondary schools based in and around Penryn. Qualified teacher status is a must!

We are looking for Teachers who can create and delivers engaging lessons to diverse groups of students at all levels. A teacher who promotes enthusiasm for learning and for subjects. Someone who adheres to national curriculum standards and maintains classroom order in an effective manner. Collects and reports on correct and detailed records of student performance.

Your role will include:

  • Planning and teaching

  • Assessing following the school marking policy

  • Promoting good progress and outcomes

  • Adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils

  • Managing behaviour effectively

  • Demonstrating good curriculum knowledge

  • Liaising with parents

Requirements for the role include being a committed and talented teacher who is able to promote the schools ethos and values. The school is looking for someone who is a caring and nurturing person, adaptable and flexible with your methods as well as resilient and patient with challenging behaviors.
