About the Role:
Vision for Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Cornwall. In this role, you will work directly with students who have a range of special educational needs, supporting them in their learning and development to ensure they can thrive in the classroom.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-on-one and group support, assist in implementing individualised learning plans, and help create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and succeed.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for students with additional needs.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and provide emotional support to students.
  • Support students during activities, ensuring they are engaged and able to participate fully.
  • Contribute to the development of individual learning plans and progress reports for students.
  • Work closely with other teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
