About the Role:
Vision for Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Cornwall. In this role, you will work directly with students who have a range of special educational needs, supporting them in their learning and development to ensure they can thrive in the classroom.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-on-one and group support, assist in implementing individualised learning plans, and help create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone passionate about education and working with students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and succeed.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for students with additional needs.
Help manage classroom behaviour and provide emotional support to students.
Support students during activities, ensuring they are engaged and able to participate fully.
Contribute to the development of individual learning plans and progress reports for students.
Work closely with other teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support.

About You:
We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who is committed to supporting students with special educational needs. Ideal candidates will have:

Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desirable but not essential).
A caring and supportive approach to students’ learning and well-being.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work well in a team and take direction from teachers and other staff members.
A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
