Great, we are looking to strengthen our Stock Control Team, and have vacancies for Despatch Stock Controllers
Please note-It would be ideal if you have your own transport due to the location
Despatch Stock Controllers manage all despatch administration and stock control of finished goods from receipt to despatch destination, ensuring all movements are accounted for accurately, taking ownership for stock rotation and PI counts
This is a busy role, and this list is not exhaustive
In your new role as a Despatch Stock Controller:
- Ensuring accurate information given reference stock receipts, holding and movements to Accounts and Despatch Departments.
- Ensuring all receipts, allocations and dispatches are correctly transacted on System 21
- To support Despatch Administrators with ensuring daily tasks are completed.
- To ensure that stock rotation is adhered to enable maximum depot shelf life to be dispatched into the supply chain.
- To provide and track statistical analysis relating to the despatch operation (i.e. costs, pallet control, dispatches, load pick history etc.)
- To take ownership of stocks from receipt of production to despatch by ensuring minimal time loss in relation to the QA release process.
- To liaise with customers on depot issues if required
Skills & Attributes
- Experience in a similar environment is advantageous
- Food Hygiene and Safety certificate is advantageous
- Good organisational and communication skills
- IT literate, email, excel and data entry
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to carry out tasks in a timely manner and complying with relevant timetables
- To communicate problems and ask assistance from your manager as required
- Team player
Working hours-Permanent 4on 4off Night shift Salary-£14.49 per hr
