As a PIP Disability Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP).This is a hybrid role, offering the perfect balance of home-based and on-site work. You’ll be responsible for conducting assessments and writing detailed reports that help determine benefit eligibility. No shift work, no hands-on clinical care – just your expertise making a real impact.Who Can Apply?To be considered, you must be:
  • A qualified and registered clinician (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent)
  • From one of the following backgrounds:
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Paramedic
  • Adult Registered Nurse
  • Physiotherapist
  • Have at least 1-year post-qualification experience in your clinical field.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT and typing skills are required to efficiently manage documentation and case reports
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth functional assessments of individuals applying for PIP
  • Evaluate how their condition affects daily living and mobility
  • Write detailed, evidence-based reports to support PIP decisions
  • Engage with claimants in a supportive and professional manner
  • Work independently while being part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Utilise IT systems for report writing, case management, and maintaining accurate records
