As a PIP Disability Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP).This is a hybrid role, offering the perfect balance of home-based and on-site work. You’ll be responsible for conducting assessments and writing detailed reports that help determine benefit eligibility. No shift work, no hands-on clinical care – just your expertise making a real impact.Who Can Apply?To be considered, you must be:

A qualified and registered clinician (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent)
From one of the following backgrounds:
Occupational Therapist
Paramedic
Adult Registered Nurse
Physiotherapist
Have at least 1-year post-qualification experience in your clinical field.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong IT and typing skills are required to efficiently manage documentation and case reports

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth functional assessments of individuals applying for PIP
Evaluate how their condition affects daily living and mobility
Write detailed, evidence-based reports to support PIP decisions
Engage with claimants in a supportive and professional manner
Work independently while being part of a multidisciplinary team
Utilise IT systems for report writing, case management, and maintaining accurate records
