Online Marketing Tutor

Location: Remote with regular in-person team meetings in Cornwall

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Our client is the leading provider of digital skills training and largest network of digital businesses in the southwest, UK. They specialise in delivering high-quality Apprenticeship and training programmes aimed at empowering businesses with skills for the digital economy.

Core to their mission, is the belief that everyone deserves access to quality, life-long education. They have substantial UK Government funding contracts to deliver training courses and business support services in the southwest, and Apprenticeships across the UK through online teaching. As a result, they are expanding their team of passionate and skilled teaching staff.

The Role

They are seeking a passionate Online Marketing Tutor to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, qualified teacher with a strong interest in digital marketing and a commitment to helping learners achieve their full potential.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging online marketing training to Apprentices and other learners aged 16 years +.

As an online tutor, you’ll need to be comfortable with running classes through online conferencing such as Zoom.

You’ll work closely with Apprentices to help them achieve accredited training in a timely and supportive way, helping them gain confidence in using practical tools in the workplace. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality online marketing training sessions to Apprentices and learners
  • Assess individual needs and tailor training plans accordingly
  • Create lesson plans, resources and assessments aligned with the curriculum
  • Provide one-to-one support and mentorship to learners
  • Provide support and feedback
  • Track and report on learner’s progress to the management team and keep clear records
  • Foster a supportive, safe and inclusive learning environment in which learners feel heard
  • Stay updated on Safeguarding and Prevent training
  • Stay updated on marketing trends and best practices in digital marketing, and feed into the continuous improvement of curriculum content
  • Commit to your own professional development (CPD) to maintain professional standards in line with QTLS

Skills and Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualified Teacher Status or essential PGCE
  • Desirable experience in digital marketing
  • Comfortable using online teaching and assessment tools and software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for life-long learning and commitment to student success
