Key Aspects of the Role:
Personalised Support:
- Offer personalized 1:1 assistance to pupils with special educational needs, adapting teaching techniques to foster their confidence and independence.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver activities, supporting pupils during transitions and daily routines.
Emotional Well-being:
- Help pupils regulate their behavior and emotions, encouraging positive interactions and social skills.
Assessment and Insights:
- Contribute to formal SEND assessments while also sharing valuable insights with families and home schools.
Swift Return to Education:
- Our goal is to facilitate a swift return to long-term education settings.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with other teaching assistants, teachers, and support staff.
