Exciting Opportunity: Supply Chain Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Site team and become a permanent member of a renowned Cornish business. Take this chance to make your mark in the role of Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and merchandise on-site.
- Assist in stock rotation and optimise material use to minimise waste.
- Place orders to avoid production delays and coordinate inbound deliveries with suppliers.
- Conduct regular and accurate stock-taking and inventory checks.
- Work with management to develop efficient production plans and schedules.
- Generate production reports to support business decision-making.
- Create purchase orders and handle administrative tasks as required.
- Manage CHEP movements and ensure audit accuracy.
- Coordinate the return of empty kegs with external customers.
- Take on additional tasks as requested by the Directors.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and MRP/ERP systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Previous experience in buying and planning within the supply chain, particularly in Food & Drink or FMCG manufacturing.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift use is essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high seasonal demand.
Qualifications (Desirable):
- Forklift License.
- CIPS Level 4 or above.
