- Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring all payments are made on time.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and update the purchase ledger.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve any queries or issues.
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
