SALES REPRESENTATIVE - FOOD INDUSTRY

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08.30 - 17.00

WILL NEED TO WORK 1 IN 6 SATURDAYS (ROTA IN PLACE)

£32,000 - £35,000 PER ANNUM - PLUS £6,000 CAR ALLOWANCE AND BONUS

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Field Sales Executive to join our well-established client based in Worcester on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering an amazing annual salary and room to grow and progress.

This role will require 25% travel, so a full driving licence and your own car is essential.

 Duties 

  • Setting of individual sales targets and maintenance of sales to meet these targets
  • Generate new business, visiting new prospects and potential customers
  • Effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships
  • Achieve and maintain high levels of customer service
  • Respond to all enquiries and sales requests within specified timeframes
  • Participate in training, learning about new products and improving sales techniques
  • Tracking achieved sales

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience within the Food, Catering, Wholesale industry
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Shows consistent professionalism and good judgement
  • Must be assertive, reliable and flexible, ensuring strong communication to all levels of the business
  • Self-motivated new business hunter who is also proficient at building relationships and developing existing customer accounts

Desirable Experience

  • Contracts: one year 
  • Sales: one year 
  • Salesforce: one year 
  • B2B sales: one year 
  • Experience within the Food Industry would be desirable
