CAD/ CAM Engineer required for a fabrication company based in Pershore. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position.
CAD / CAM Engineer Position Overview- Provide support to the business development executive and operations team and work to ensure that all aspects of CAD design are created to fully meet the high specifications set.
- Responsible for ensuring the success of the design from inception through to delivery into manufacture.
- Manage all elements of Cad/Cam programming for two AMADA 9kw fibre lasers and one BLM tube laser.
- Proficient knowledge of 2D and 3D software packages to create professional work to
- Generate accurate CAD/CAM drawings of parts using customer supplied drawings and / or DXF's.
- Analyse the design proposals and the technical information in order to identify the issues arising during product development, defining and implementing adequate solutions in order to reach a feasible proposal with a high form and aesthetic quality.
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers.
- A creative, logical approach for generating new ideas and solutions, with the ability to transition through to product / project development.
- Experienced in a similar company
- CAD / CAM experience
- Salary dependent on experience
