About the Role:
Alarge Fleet Management Companyis looking for an experiencedBodyshop Prepperto join their team on acontract basisat theirnewly opened bodyshopinPershore, Worcestershire. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of18 per hourand isoutside IR35. You'll be working on a variety of vehicles, including different makes and models, preparing them to the highest standard for painting and finishing.
As aBodyshop Prepper, your main duties will includemasking, sanding down, priming, and performing small filler workon vehicles, ensuring that they are properly prepared for the next stages of reconditioning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in bodyshop, fleet, or accident repair work to contribute to a busy and modern facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Masking:Carefully mask areas of the vehicle to prevent overspray and ensure clean lines.
- Sanding Down:Sand vehicle surfaces to remove imperfections and prepare for painting.
- Priming:Apply primer coats to surfaces for optimal paint adhesion.
- Small Filler Work:Perform small repairs, filling dents and imperfections in the bodywork.
- General Prep Duties:Ensure all vehicles are prepped to the required standards for reconditioning, ready for the final finishing process.
About You:
We are looking for an experiencedBodyshop Prepperwith a strong background inbodyshop, fleet, or accident repairenvironments. You should have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional setting. Your experience in sanding, priming, and filler work will be key to succeeding in this role.
Minimum Criteria:
- Proven experience inbodyshop preparationtasks such as masking, sanding, priming, and small filler work on all makes and models of vehicles.
- Experience withinbodyshop, fleet management, or accident repairis essential.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Full, cleanUK driving license.
- Must be eligible to work as a contractoroutside IR35.
