Are you an experienced Laser Setter Operator looking for a new challenge? Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Pershore, where you will work with state-of-the-art Amada flatbed fibre laser cutting machines in a fast-paced production environment.
The Role:
- Operate and set Amada fibre laser cutting machines and multi-flex sheet loaders
- Load programs, set machine parameters, and inspect materials for quality
- Process materials of varying thicknesses (0.6mm - 25mm) with precision
- Interpret engineering drawings and use measuring tools like micrometres and verniers
- Conduct quality checks on finished products and identify any programming or setup errors
Suited Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Laser Setter Operator, ideally with Amada machines.
- Ability to work with varied component sizes and materials.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and measuring equipment
- Experience with Adige tube cutting lasers is beneficial, but training can be provided
